The Solovey Music initiative brings together Finnish and Ukrainian musical traditions while supporting Ukraine in the midst of war. All proceeds from the project are directed to Ukrainian cultural actors. The initiative is led by Solovey Productions Oy.
Ukrainian melodies come alive tomorrow evening, 29 August, at the Turku Music Festival in Logomo, where Yona and Saimaa perform together with the Vantaa Pops Orchestra. Featuring songs from the album Solovey – Songs from Ukraine, the concert is both a unique musical experience and a tribute to Ukrainian culture — a call for peace through music.
