Finland’s flagship event for European policy, the Europe Forum, will once again be held in Turku, from 28 to 30 August 2024. The event will bring together key influencers, experts and decision-makers from both Finland and Europe to discuss current issues and future challenges. This year, the main theme of the forum will be a secure future for Finland and Europe.

The three-day event will offer a broad range of perspectives on the theme of security in geopolitics, sustainability and economics. Prime Minister Petteri Orpo will open the forum and deliver one of the keynote speeches.

An international perspective will be brought by former Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta who will also be one of the keynote speakers at the opening ceremony. Other international guests attending the event include Director-General for Research and Innovation at the European Commission Marc Lemaître, Director-General of Communication and Information for the Council of the European Union Agnieszka Bartol and Director of the European Centre for International Political Economy Hosuk Lee-Makiyama.
